How to Play GeoBorders

A country appears on screen. Draw its border before time runs out and try to get as close to the real outline as you can.

Draw the border

Find the country by zooming and moving the map, then trace its outline with the drawing tool. Made a mistake? Use undo or the eraser, or clear the map and start again. The timer stays on screen throughout the round.

See how close you were

At the end of the round, the game compares your line with the real border and gives you an accuracy score. Multiplayer results put everyone’s attempt for that country side by side.

Solo

Choose a region and a time limit, then practise at your own pace without waiting for anyone else.

Quick Play

Enter a nickname and join the queue for the next public game. Quick Play chooses the settings for you and sends you to the room when the match is ready.

Custom Rooms

Join a room from the public list or make your own. A room can be public or password-protected, and its host chooses the region, drawing time, player limit, and game mode. Send friends the room link to invite them.

Hero or Villain

A solo history quiz: choose a country on the map and decide which of the two people shown is a positive figure in its history.

Click a portrait to answer. The game reveals the correct choice, both names, and short biographies. Each correct answer earns one point. Use the arrow to continue to the next pair, or select another country on the map.
